Frequently Asked Questions

  • We accept a variety of media format(s).

    • Tapes - VHS, VHS-C, Hi8, Video 8, MiniDV, Betamax, MicroMV, PAL, Digital 8

    • Photos - hard copy photos (up to 8"x10"), 35 mm mounted slides, 35 mm film strips, medium-format panoramic film (6cm x 22cm)

    • Keepsakes - children's artwork, recipes, letters etc.

  • The timing will depend on the project size. The typical timeframe is 2-6 weeks from the time I receive your media. However, if you need your order complete within a certain time, please specify at checkout. I will do my best to accommodate your request.

  • Peace of mind is Alpine Meadow Memories LLC's top priority. We take the following steps for every project to ensure your media is safe:

    • USPS shipment tracking included

    • Notification of project start and completion

    • Content tracking - Prior to shipping your memory box, you will fill out an inventory sheet. Once I receive your memory box, I will check the contents received against the inventory sheet. I will also do the same prior to shipping your box back to you.

  • Your privacy is extremely important to us! Alpine Meadow LLC does not save or store any of your personal media. All backed up/organized photos are stored on a USB device that is shipped to you once I complete your project.

  • You can specify up to 3 categories you would like your photos organized into. The most common categories are date (month/year), person, and event. When you receive your memory box you will be able to specify the categories you would like me to use.

    I can also suggest categories once I begin working on your project.

  • Alpine Meadow Memories LLC does not currently organize photos stored on the cloud.
